1933 WEST POINT HOWITZERUnited States Military Academy
Graduating from the USMA less than a decade before WWII, the 347 graduates of 1933 served in important mid-level commands and positions during World War II. A very high percentage of the class retired as General Officers including four at 4-star rank and 10 Lt. Gens, The class also included William Darby of Darby’s Rangers fame and Joe Stillwell, Jr, son of the WWII General and a General Officer in his own right in Vietnam.
The Howitzer opens with an unusual series of 8 photographs of West Point buildings in deep snow.
