This is the First Set of Books in the Stonewyck Storyline.
From the Back Covers:
The Heather Hills of Stonewycke
Michael R. Phillips, the editor of the bestselling series of George MacDonald's stories retold for today's reader, has teamed with Judith Pella to develop a sweeping, panoramic saga of three generations in the lives of an aristocratic Scottish family.
The Heather Hills of Stonewycke, Book One in The Stonewycke Trilogy, begins in Scotland during the mid-nineteenth century. The story revolves around a prominent, land-owning family, the Duncans. Seventeen-year-old Margaret Duncan feels that the distance between her parents is increasing; and she feels alienated from her father, whom she had adored unreservedly as a small child.
Into an already tense family relationship sweeps Ian, a wealthy, spoiled distant cousin of James Duncan. But he becomes strangely uncomfortable with his old life style as some good influences in this Scottish community begin to mark his character.
Flight From Stonewycke
Book Two in The Stonewycke Trilogy continues the sweeping, panoramic saga of three gnerations in the lives of an aristocratic Scottish family. After Maggie and Ian's secret marriage, they flee their beloved Stonewycke in peril of their lives.
The young, robust new country across the ocean represents a whole new life for them. What will it mean? Will they truly be able to leave the past behind? Will Ian be cleared of the criminal charge against him?
Thus opens the second book by this talented writing team.
The Lady of Stonewycke
Book Three in The Stonewycke Trilogy continues the sweeping, panoramic saga of three generations in the lives of an aristocratic Scottish family. Book Two, Flight From Stonewycke, left Maggie still separated from her beloved Scotland and her beloved Ian. More than time and oceans seem to have conspired to keep them apart.
Who is really "The Lady of Stonewycke"?
Has the ancestral legacy been lost forever?
Will Stonewycke be saved for its rightful heir?
These books are used, but in good condition. They have some minor signs of wear on the covers (cellophane just starting to peel away and some dings, creases) but no dog ears or writing.
